As known, Lateral Transfer applications between Higher Education Institutions are carried out in two ways: based on General Grade Point Average (GPA) and Central Placement Score.
Applications based on the general grade point average for the 2025-2026 Academic Year will be made online between January 19 - January 28, 2026, via the address:
https://ubys.hitit.edu.tr/AIS/ApplicationForms/Home/Index?apptype=5
Required documents must be uploaded to the application system during the online application. Conversion tables determined by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) Executive Board will be used for grade conversions.

Documents to be Uploaded to the Lateral Transfer Application Module:
YKS Result (Score) Document (Must include a verification code).
ÖSYM Placement Document (Must include a verification code).
Photograph (To be uploaded to the system during online application).
Student Certificate (Documents with a verification code obtained from e-Government are accepted).
Transcript of Records (Documents with a verification code obtained from e-Government are accepted).
Documents Required from Candidates Entitled to Final Registration:
Course Contents (Syllabus): Accepted if obtained from the verifiable official website of the registered higher education institution and uploaded to the application page.
Document indicating no disciplinary action: (If stated in other documents, a separate document is not required; e-Government documents with verification codes are accepted).
Transcript of Records: (e-Government documents with verification codes are accepted).
"No Obstacle for Lateral Transfer" Letter from the Higher Education Institution.
Top 10% Document: For students who are in the top 10% of their class (if applicable).

For a student wishing to transfer based on the Central Placement Score, the student's ÖSYS/YKS placement score must be equal to or higher than the base score of the program they wish to transfer to for the year they were placed.

For candidates applying to the Social Sciences Vocational School Civil Air Transport Management Program:
A document with a verification code obtained from e-Government stating that there is no Criminal Record or Criminal Archive Record that would prevent obtaining an Airport Entry Card.
A Medical Board Report from a fully-fledged hospital obtained within the last six months stating that there are no health problems (hearing loss/deficiency, vision loss/deficiency, etc.) that would prevent performing the profession and/or the assigned task.
For candidates applying to the Alaca Avni Çelik Vocational School Civil Defense and Firefighting Program:
Candidates must meet the health conditions specified in the Municipal Fire Brigade Regulation for appointment as a firefighter (Article 15). It is also beneficial for candidates to review the conditions regarding the appointment.

Incomplete documents and late applications will not be processed.
For lateral transfer applications from abroad, certified Turkish translations of all documents must be uploaded to the system.
Do not use mobile phones or tablets for application procedures. Clear your computer's history/cache before starting the application.
It is recommended to use Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft EDGE, Opera, etc. browsers. Errors may occur in transactions made on the Chrome web browser.
Students placed via the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) must select Group 1 in the Application Module (UBYS).
